Reserved and non-reserved seats for all Shinkansen (MIZUHO, SAKURA, TSUBAME and KAMOME) within the designated covered area.
*JR Kyushu Rail Passes do not apply to Shinkansen (bullet train) rides between Hakata and Kokura since this portion is a part of the Sanyo Shinkansen operated by JR-WEST.

*Passengers are able to upgrade to Green Car (first-class car)tickets but will be subject to additional charges.
*The Green Car is a first-class car with wider seats and other upgrades/amenities.
The pass cannot be used for JR Kyushu buses,B&S Miyazaki buses,the Cruise Train Seven Stars in Kyushu and the ARU RESSHA(Sweet Train).
The pass cannot be used for the Sanyo Shinkansen (between Hakata and Kokura).
Use of Green Car (first-class car) is subject to an additional fee. Passes do not authorize holder access to the private room/compartment of any Green Car.
The pass is only valid within the JR Kyushu service area even though there may be some lines in Kyushu operated by other companies.
Travel on trains outside of the designated coverage area of your pass is subject to an additional fee/charge.

Refund Policy
Receive your Japan Rail Pass: After completing the form and verification done, the staff will provide you with the actual Japan Rail Pass. The pass consists of a paper ticket and a small booklet containing important information about the pass, including rules and instructions.
Remember to keep your Japan Rail Pass with you at all times during your travel in Japan, as you may be required to show it to the staff when entering and exiting the train stations or boarding the trains.
